First overseas venture for Maryland-based firm marks continued growth in demand for firm’s novel approach to data analytics
Rockville, MD, Friday, November 9, 2018 – HSR has been invited by the State of Maryland to join its official delegation to the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2019, taking place from January 28th – 31st, 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates. Arab Health is the premier healthcare industry trade show for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and we are delighted to be a part of the event.
In addition, HSR has been awarded the State’s ExportMD grant to support formal export development and logistics support provided by both the International Investment and Trade Office at the Maryland Department of Commerce as well as the US Commercial Service within the International Trade Administration of the US Commerce Department.
“Very excited to have [HSR] with us at Arab Health 2019. HSR is a great new addition to the Maryland Delegation, can’t wait to witness all the new business they will win in the Middle East!” said Brian Castleberry, Regional Manager for the Middle East and Africa for the Office of International Investment and Trade at the Maryland Department of Commerce, who manages the State’s delegation to Arab Health.
At Arab Health, HSR will showcase their GeoHealth Dashboard, which is its novel and innovative geospatial health data analytic platform. They will demonstrate how the GeoHealth Dashboard merges health and non-health data to aid long term planning for health systems as well as risk stratify patient for adverse health outcomes. Through our approach, we can objectively risk stratify patients for risk of, for example, opioid addiction, diversion, or overdose in the next 12 months.
In preparation for Arab Health, HSR has conducted research to identify the specific drivers of health outcomes in the MENA region as well as how the GeoHealth Dashboard can model these drivers to anticipate future health needs. For example, we can estimate and predict the impact on health outcomes from shifts in land use towards urbanization to enable health ministries and planning organizations to prepare for those impacts. Results of HSR’s research will be displayed in their booth at Arab Health.
HSR will be in Booth is H2.A34. This is part of the State of Maryland’s booth and within the US Pavilion.
